The 2020 Mayors Gala for the Arts Will Transport You to Tuscany

Kamloops, BC – Considered by many to be the birthplace of the Renaissance, the striking landscapes, medieval villages, and rolling hills of Tuscany have inspired artists for generations. On January 18, 2020 in the Columbo Lodge, the Mayor’s Gala for the Arts will transport you to Tuscany for their 13th annual celebration of the arts and culture sector in Kamloops with Viva le Arti: Under The Tuscan Moon.

Guests will bask in the welcoming old-world charm of a Tuscan village while enjoying a sumptuous meal served family-style (in Italy, everybody’s family), inspired by the exquisite sights and flavours of Tuscany. The gala is also known for its captivating entertainment, and this year will feature enchanting Italian enthused offerings and other exciting enjoyments.

In addition to the delightful sights, sounds, and tastes, the evening boasts a silent auction with items including travel packages, event tickets, and restaurant experiences that will be sure to please, as well as a raffle for an exciting grand prize.

The evening will culminate with the presentation of the Mayor’s Awards for the Arts, celebrating achievements in three categories: Emerging Artist, Enduring Supporter, and Corporate Champion.

Tickets are $125, and available from Kamloops Live! Box Office.

The Mayor's Gala for the Arts is a collaborative partnership that brings together the City of Kamloops, Kamloops Art Gallery, Kamloops Symphony, and Western Canada Theatre, to celebrate the arts and culture sector of Kamloops.
